Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Snorezy iOS app and of snorezy.org. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. Please read section 2 carefully.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Snorezy on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or commercially exploit the app, or, except where local law expressly permits it, reverse engineer or decompile it.
2. Not a medical device
Snorezy is a consumer sleep sound recorder. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, screen for, treat or rule out any condition, including sleep apnea. Sound detection, categories, scores, trends and patterns are estimates for your own information, and they can be wrong. Nothing in the app or on this website is medical advice.
If you or someone who sleeps near you notices pauses in your breathing, choking or gasping, or you feel very sleepy during the day, talk to a doctor. Don't delay or disregard medical advice because of anything Snorezy shows you. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
3. Recording other people
Snorezy records sound in the room. You are responsible for recording only yourself or people who know and have agreed to it, such as a partner who shares the room, and for complying with the laws on recording that apply where you are.
4. Recording reliability
A night recording can stop or have gaps for reasons outside the app's control: the phone running out of battery, being restarted, low storage, another app taking the microphone, a phone call, or iOS ending the app. Snorezy marks gaps it knows about, and never counts a gap as quiet, but we can't guarantee that every night is recorded in full.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Some features require a Snorezy Premium subscription. Where an auto-renewing subscription is offered:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage and cancel it in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
- Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Prices may vary by region and may change, as permitted by Apple and applicable law.
Billing and refunds are handled by Apple, through Apple's support channels and policies.
6. Your content
Recordings, notes and everything else you create are stored on your device, and you keep all rights to them. They leave it only when you share them, or as part of your own device backup. We don't receive them or claim any licence over them. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Snorezy, its name, design, artwork, sounds, copy and software belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a licence to use the app, not ownership of it.
8. Changes
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any feature. We may revise these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continuing to use the app after a revision means you accept it.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snorezy is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that detection is accurate or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that can't lawfully be limited.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use Snorezy. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You may stop using Snorezy at any time by deleting it. This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. Sections 2, 3 and 6 to 10 survive termination.
12. Apple
Snorezy is distributed through the App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app or its content, or any obligation to provide maintenance or support. Any claim that the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty may be directed to Apple for a refund of the purchase price. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Your use must also comply with the App Store Terms of Service.
